It is working fine for a small radio cd player and a Vibratone. Have to see if it keeps working well over time.

At first I was disgusted with this product. I used it everyday faithfully for two weeks and my legs still felt shaggy. Finally I had to shave with a razor. The next day and everyday since then I have used this shaver and it has been doing a pretty good job. The trick seems to be to start with your legs already free of any noticeable hair growth then use this product everyday to keep hair from becoming visible; your legs actually will feel smooth. I think Conair should say that in the instuctions and save people a lot of aggravation.

The advantages of this shaver are:

    1. I can sit comfortably in a chair to shave instead of lying on my back in the tub with my leg in the air.

    2. It’s convenient. I don’t have to get undressed and get wet. I can shave while the bath water is running so it saves time.

    3. It’s easy on my skin (though razor burn hasn’t been a problem for me since I started making my own soap).

    The disadvantages are:

    1. Your have to keep it charged. I’m not sure I would bother to take it if I was traveling.

    2. It does actually take longer than shaving with a razor, but I find it more pleasant to use so maybe I just do it longer.

    3. It is useless against visible hair.

I just returned this. I HATE it. The directions said to use it 10-12 times for optimum results and I was trying to be patient, but it doesn’t remove ANY hair unless you go over the area many times. I can shave with a razor in a fraction of the time. I never got a decent shave and the last straw was when I tried to do my underarms and it cut the hell out of me. I couldn’t sleep because it hurt so bad. Very disappointing.

I’m going to agree with the other unimpressed reviewers – this shaver is a dud. I’ve used it wet with soap as recommended in the manual with little success and I’ve used it dry but it still barely shaved my legs and underarms.

What good is a shaver that doesn’t shave? I’m reminded of the old adage “you get what you pay for” and you should too. I admit to borrowing my boyfriend’s shaver when he wasn’t looking and it did a great job.

If you do buy a shaver, here are the features you should look for:
    - Rechargeable, preferably one with a stand/base
    - Wet/dry usage
    - Titanium blade coverings
    - Pop up trimmer
    - Easy to find replacement blades when necessary

With any shaver, your skin will need time to adjust, but this shaver isn’t worth the hassle. Buy something that will do the job it’s intended for.
