This review is from: Remington HC-70 Haircut Kit (Health and Beauty)

This is first review I’ve ever written on this site and I’ll keep it simple. This is a terrible product. I’m not a vain person and I was perfectly happy with a $50 set of Wahl clippers (which I got on sale for $40) until they were stolen from me. I tried to be cheap and replace them with these. Huge mistake. The person who said they prefer these to Wahl and Oster must be either a paid employee of Remington or completely delusional. My hair was short as it had only been two weeks since I last shaved my head and these things still couldn’t get the job done. They pulled the hair, cut unevenly and irritated the skin on my neck. It must have taken me a half hour to get my head to look reasonable when the Wahls I had before could’ve done a better job in five minutes. I’m returning them today and I’ll either try to be cheap again and see if a low end Wahl set will do the trick or I’ll just spend another $50 and get the basic Oster clippers as everyone seems to love those. Remington should be embarrassed to put their logo on this product and retailers should refuse to carry it. This is absolutely a non functional product.

First the good news: It cuts hair and it’s cheap.

The bad news is that it vibrates like crazy and it’s loud. It’s sort of like cutting hair with a chainsaw.

If you don’t mind your hand going numb and your ears ringing after five minutes of use then this is just the ticket. It is cheap.

Did I mention that it’s cheap? And it does cut hair. One star for each.

they should not be haircut clippers because the pull the hair out and cause pain. and on top of that when i got the first set it was broken and i sent it back and they sent me out another one and that was broken to so i just sent them both back and got my money back . it was very poor and i would not have got if i had knew.
